WebJan 20, 2024 · My Widow is one of the smoothest bows in my collection. It is a take down recurve so is much heavier than the bow we were speaking of but it is a fine bow. Like some have said you either love them or hate them. They are different but have a good rep. & have been in business a lot of years. I like it. They shot the same. The only difference is my PTF has an Asbell grip and the PA had a regular BW grip.

If you go with a Toelke at least consider getting the bow bolt option. The extra mass in the riser will help you a lot. In the end, if you want a wood bow, you need to embrace the fact that there are more efficient setups. WebSep 12, 2024 · I received this from Black Widow the week before I had my stroke in June. It is a one piece recurve, 40 pounds at 28" with a low-wrist grip in Ironwood. The bow is absolutely beautiful and shoots just as smooth as silk. The only thing is that I prefer my PCH-X... so down the road it goes to fund other things (like more limbs for the PCH).
